Mike > Are you using a DSM flywheel? I just can't imagine a ACT pressure plate, 1G fwd flywheel, and any 225mm clutch disc slipping in a rwd. I would think the tires would lose traction before the clutch did.

If you swap the whole axle to one from a different make, you also have to have a custom driveshaft made to mate up to it. So I guess you just have the pick your battle. I didn't think swapping the LSD into my rear differential was difficult, but I could see how it looks that way. Either way works ...

For what it is worth, I passed a Massachusetts emissions test with a 4G63 in my Ram 50. The test was done on a chassis dyno, with a load on the engine, and with the smog sensor in the tail pipe. The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve is used for emissions reasons. It attaches to the intake manifold and recirculation exhaust gasses back into the intake manifold when you are at highway speeds. This burns exhaust gasses twice leaves less crap coming out the tailpipe.
