So having the turbo rotated 180 degrees from the stock position (like the motor on the top of the forum) there is a complication on the drain route. Obviosuly, none of the hard line will work. I've taken care of the coolant in, coolant out, and oil in lines but still need some advice on the oil drain line back to the pan.
The main issue is the engine mount is 'in the way' and there isn't really a direct line of sight route to the normal oil pan connection. Are people still connecting to the stock flange for the oil pan or is it easier to just make a new connection spot? I could maybe just use some high temp, oil rated hose and cut off most of the hard pipe and clamp the hose to the stubs. that would let me use the flanges and stock location but it may result in 'pocketing' of the drainline which I hear is a bad thing. It may not be a true pocket but the line would run almost horizantal and oil could backup under a side load while cornering. I don't know if its worth trying to tap a new connection to the pan or not. Advice?

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Another option would be to simply cut the stock drain line in the middle somewhere and add additional flex line to fill the gap. That oil isn't under that much pressure and some simple hose clamps should be fine to hold it all together. But always use new gaskets. The pan area is a notorious oil leak area.
