just put in some VR4 cams everything else is the same, the corporate sharing of the mitsu engine gave hyundui all the 1G head engines where mitsu went to the smaller port 2g. i have 1800 and 2000 cc hyundui engines here and you can buy them for next to nothing. turbo mitsu's have lower comp pistons.

there is plenty of potential for a high reving engine, eg: 1.6 litre crank in a 2 litre or a 1.8 litre crank in a 2 litre. for revs is would be worthwhile keeping the pistons as small and as lite as possible. the 1g head will flow enough with a very mild port job and a short runner manifold with a ...

Hi Smog, my G54b didnt even like the 75kw stock carby set up it cracked right along the welsh plug line. (joining all three plugs) common fault apparently as from what i have heard from engine builders and salvage yards. Something to do with harmonics from the balance shafts, i went for the 4G63 ...

Aussie trick! If you have a compressor, seal off motor "PVC", oil cap on, remove the oil filter and put an air line into the valve cover breather 'tight fit' this will pressurise your crankcase and the only way the air can escape is to force oil up the pickup and out the filter and there you have it ...

I dont think the brazing is going to like the heat the turbo is going to put into that pipe! the pipe will be as hot as what the brazing torch could get it to RED hot. so just keep an eye on the bronze running. where the bronze is a bit lumpy (rough) it needs a bit more heat from the torch to smooth ...
