90-94 had a cam sensor on the intake cam by the t stat housing only.
95-96 had a crank sensor and a cam sensor the was part of the intake cam gear.
97-99 had a crank sensor and a cam sensor that was back on the t stat side of the cam.

Sorry that was the km132 from a D50. There was someone on here that had a stock colt tranny in their car going 11's. Either way they seem to hold up if you don't beat the piss out of it.

It should hold up no problem as long as you not drifting and holeshoting the crap out of it. Mine broke from sticky stiff wall tires and wheel hop. Car was making low 300whp at the tire

IMO a 6 speed is pretty useless unless you are going for some kind of Bonneville speed record. You want your highway cruise RPM to be at or close to peak VE for fuel efficiency. I believe a stock 4g63 hits peak VE around 3000rpm.

When I put slicks on my car for the first time it would dog tail very bad. Poly suspension bushing fixed most of the issue. It would load the pass side suspension so bad the slick would rub the front of the wheel well. One of the many joys of IRS.

Get a spring bender. It's basically a coil that goes on the out side of the pipe where your bending it and keeps the pipe round.

Honestly nothing to the mounts they are great. Perhaps you could machine a flange that flips the stock exhaust manifold making it a top mount. Someone has it in the build forum it's a purple galant. I can't see moving the motor because of this.

id say useable powerband was 3500-7800 ish. it was a stock 1g head so we didnt push the revs on the stock valvetrain. completely daily driver friendly was like having a little turbo. 2.4's are great aside from the headgasket and block cracking issues. what are you building the car for?

I've only delt with a 2.4 and a 18g a 20g and a 50trim and a fp3065. They all spool ridiculously fast. The 3065 is between the hx40 & 52. It would hit full boost by around 4k rpms 28psi.

No it definitely fits with the stock stuff. I think a top mount manifold would fit better. I'm very pleased with the placement of the motor. I'll be even more pleased if it helps with the tranny leaking.

Oh yeah there's a huge difference in location. The exhaust housing went from being next to the frame rail to almost on top of it. Now there's more space on the intake side. It's good. Ideally a top mount manifold would work the best but there is enough room to make the stock stuff work.

Very cool build! Where did you get the plate that flips the exuast manifold. That looks like a great alternative to a top mount manifold without the cost.

His is 6bolt I'm pretty sure his is one of 3 or 4 for his particular setup. It tool the 6 months to get it done. Maybe since the 7 bolt is more off the shelf it's cheaper. I dunno
