ok well the car is done. i got to get some seat time in it this weekend. all i can say is WOW! what a diffierance in the car. i can say i kicked the piss out of it for a lil while today and not a creek or a twitch from the mounts. the mounts i had rigged had the driveshaft angles so far out i had constant vibrations and noises. ITS ALL GONE NOW. i used to get tons of knock picked up through the knock sensor and now i get none. i cruised the car for an hour after the hurracaine down by the beach to check out the carnage and it was actually the most pleasant experience ive ever had driving the car.i cant wait to drive it more. i would almost daily drive the car. it just needs ac for that.
Bill seriously thank you. your efforts making the parts to get us guys down the road correct and safe are much apreciated by me and im sure the whole rwd 4g63 comunity.
guys if you plan on running a narrow 4g63 and a r154 buy these mounts its a no brianer. you wont be unsadisfied.
thanks again Bill

this is the remote shifter, the first thing I did was replace the shifer loop extension with an R 154 internal set up

then I located and mounted the second peice from the R 154 shifter and located the shift rail

then I started building the body of the remote shifter

I could have done this a lot of different ways but it had to be very universal because it will fit a variaty of aplications and it had to work just as well as a 5 inch extension to a 2 foot extension

I will probably spend just as much time building the tooling to machine this part

Ok well only downfall to these mounts is big mitsu style bolt on turbos do not fit. My precision scm50 the seals finally went and I tried to install my spare turbo a hx35. Well it did not clear the inner fenderwell where the brake line goes through. So folks if you have a turbo with any cover bigger than an E style compressor cover it won't fit. I could have beat it in with a hammer but I chose not to because of the brake line. So go with a top mpunt if your going with a larger turbo.

Honestly nothing to the mounts they are great. Perhaps you could machine a flange that flips the stock exhaust manifold making it a top mount. Someone has it in the build forum it's a purple galant. I can't see moving the motor because of this.
