4g63 Swap stuff: Chassis, Engine, Tranny and more!
Long story short, about 4 years ago I bought a black 86 Widebody, a galant VR4 JDM frontclip, and a W55 transmission (could be a W54? I can go find a model number on it if necessary) with a bellhousing modified to fit a 4g63, and never did a damn thing with any of it, LOL. Too busy, ran out of money ...

Just been wondering, if anyone knows the actual gear ratios on the D50 tranny, or atleast those of you who've got a D50 bolted up to a StarQuest rear end, what are your current redline shift points in mph? (For example 1st to 25mph, 2nd to 60mph or whatever). Or even you D50 guys, what are they at ...

Yeah, its an AWD tranny, but if you're wanting to compare the the 3.0L 6g72 bolt pattern to the 4g63 bell housing, then that would probably help out. I have a 4g63 sitting in my garage too, but its all still in a front clip. I also wonder if the starion tranny will bolt up to the 6g72 (though I bet ...
