I've been looking into this as well. It's a wideblock that shares the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the older blocks.

I'm at the point I'm trying to figure out which g63t harness do I use with it. Generation 1 turbo harness or a generation 2 turbo harness (Evo).

Only need a offset pulley if you use a RWD/SOHC water pump, otherwise most of us just stick with the DOHC pumps that don't require one.

Any progress on the wiring? I know you were hoping to basically make a jumper harness from the DSM engine harness to the S13 chassis harness, and I would love to see if you figured that out.

5 lug swap pretty much done ;). Next step is remove remaining brake and fuel lines in the engine bay, wash out, clean, and start prepping the bay for the motor. Pickup gas pedal bolted up perfectly, just need to bend the rod a little to have full swing. Already took measurements for the new brake ...

You wouldn't, but he is answering your question about clutch stuff and starter. Clutch disc & PP don't care what motor you use, starter should work fine as long as it's a manual trans starter and not from a automatic. Tooth count difference on a flexplate vs a flywheel.

3 types of Cam Angle Sensors too, Greentop (Optical) and Blacktop (Hall effect) - both are adjustable, the 97+ style CAS is non-adjustable.

As Screemin said for 95-96, Visually these are the motors that you will not see the "Big" cam sensor on the back of the head, just a plug.

Starions should be 6 bolts as well, 7 bolts didn't come about till the 90s. Over here 7 bolts that may work come from 92-99 DSMs (Eclipse/talon/lasers). FWD flywheels are the about the same size as your stock siggy one, I know fwd 6 bolts are 110 teeth on the ring gear, but not sure about the 7s ...

I was referring to if you swapped a Hydraulic setup into a car other than a Starion, you missed that part where I noted that Starions are Hydraulic Setups and the Pickups are cable.
Thus why you aren't finding anything about this being an issue.

If it's a 4g64, it should be a wideblock, but neither one really limits you if you go the bill Hincher made Bellhousing route, but if your thinking factory bolt on you need a wideblock transmission, either the one out of the pickup or a Starquest one, however pickups use cable clutch and Starions ...

It depends on your power goals for what transmission setup, but if you want least custom work, a R154 is not apart of your plans then, I'm sure someone else can fill you in there as I'm not too knowledgeable on the Starquests for rear end strengths.

Well Starions don't exist past 89 so I'm not sure where you got Pre-93 from.

It's not a matter of 6 bolt/7 bolt for mounting, it's that as US Starquests never came with 4g63s, so you use the pickup mounts from a truck that had g63/g64 in them. The brackets for the g52/g54 trucks are the same as the ...

Crankwalk isn't as common as people made it out to be. 97+ 7 bolts had the revised thrust bearings. Disable the neutral safety switch, so you don't need to push the clutch in to fire it up, it will help prevent unnecessary load on the thrust bearing, which can lead to bearing failure/crankwalk.

1 of those pumps is probably the G52 to think of it, ASA doesn't really clarify on that. The gears are relatively cheap and if you think $140 is expensive for a g63 oil pump...lol, A OEM Mitsu oil pump is going to run you at least $200, without gears, over $300 with.

Yes they are lol, they are just the wheels that came with the axle, more than likely I'm going to be running Widebody starion 16s or some 15s.. I was going to run MS because I always wanted to, but I'm leaning back towards link, I'd be hard pressed to find someone local that can help with tuning on MS. Evo ECU is an idea, but that would add to parts, because I would need a Evo Ecu + jumper harness to make it a plug n play ordeal.

Decided to go a different route, it's a complete ECU with the MAPDaddy 4 bar map sensor built in and it is the older style that requires splicing the MS harness to the stock harness if you plan to use the stock g63t engine harness. Never been installed and had it built about 4 years ago.

the ones that will sit parallel to the head are off a 4g37, no part number listed on ASA. Find a 4g37 powered vehicle, such as a '89 DSM (Flat hood, no camshaft bulge), or Galant, or whatever else came fitted with that motor.
