For the U.S. the wideblock is 13 1/4 inches, so the metric converter says 336mm across the bottom pins center to center. so I'd say the 340 is a wideblock considering your eyeball/meaduring device, It's definetly bigger than the the narrow bloks 12 1/2 317mm measurement.

The function can't really be eliminated, the computer needs that input to provide the spark properly. So beat the firewall with a hammer...or re-locate it.

You can use floating pin rods as long as you have the groove for the retaining clips in the pistons, and you use the retaining clips!

I picked them up from the old Mightyd50.com site they're from the Haynes Manual for the truck, which I have. makes it easy to print a page and carry it out to the truck instead of the whole book. Plus you can supersize it.

Starter brushes could be worn out. Could try going straight to the starter with the jumper cables to bypass the battery.

Made me go back and look at my run logs.
I'm using a PTE 6262 with a .82 trim. Custom Exhaust Manifold.

Yeah, spools up pretty fast, really starts to hit hard at about 3000RPM.
runs up to 25lbs practically straight up. redline is 8K.

Strictly racing.

That is the Cam Angle Sensor. You have some experimenting to do. you'll have to figure out how to adjust base timing and advance the timing under load etc.

It may be possible that you only lost the boot block on the original hard drive.It won't boot the machine from there, but all the data(or most) is still there.
Install the Original drive as a second hard drive in the system and access all the original data that way. It becomes a D: Drive. copy ...

Just a Side Note, 4663 and 4G64 Rods ARE the same.
and you get a 2.3L motor because the bore is smaller.

The only fitment you are ordering is spline count. The clutch, pressure plate(s) and Button Flywheel are a package. You have to figure out how to get a Starter Ring Gear in there. I don't think a SAFC would do it for a Turbo Application. I had enough trouble with a SAFCII and a custom Prom from Tom Dorris (DSMLInk) on a NA Build.

Tom Re-sized my injectors and raised the RPM Limit. with the Custom E-Prom.

My Final Solution was a AEM for the Talon with the requisite changes ...

Switching Brands is not in the formula at the moment. It changes the Wheel Bolt Pattern to 5, making my 2 sets of 6 bolt wheels obsolete. wanting to stick with the Mitsu Rear end. It appears there isn't any experience in this arena. Time to Blaze the Trail again.

The quest is to find "other" ratios that are mechanically compatible to the MM rear diff. My experience is that Mitsubishi re-used a LOT of parts amongst vehicle lines, i.e. my mechanical lifters are spec'd for a 1.8 liter motor (4g61) but are a direct replacement for the Hydraulic lifters in my 2.4 ...

Bonneville World Finals

159.894 MPH In the last mile at the Bonneville World Finals. That was my highest speed of the meet. My backup run on Saturday morning was a paltry 150.029MPH. for a average of 154.961MPH to up my existing record by 17 MPH.
