What pistons are you using? What type of pin do they require?
Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
Yeah I got that. I guess what I'm asking is; is the pin and bore of the piston enlarged to make it press fit or is the bore of the small side of the rod smaller?
I need to replace a rod in my truck and I'm wondering if I can use a turbo 6 bolt rod with a sohc 8 valve piston and pin.
