And another buddy of mine has a '89 Shelby Dakota, 5.2, 5spd, 2wd but it's RED..
I can't stand red.. He only wants 1200 for it but ...

***W T B - Broken 2.6 crankshaft***
Finally getting around to swapping this quest auto trans into my son's 86 ram50 to get an overdrive, and want to flush it out 'completely' including the torque converter.
So, I'm looking for a crankshaft flange from a bad 2.6 crank that bolts to the flexplate/flywheel so i can weld a bolt/nut to it ...

**wanted Quest fuel pump block off plate**
Just like it states. I put a Rochester 2-barrel on my '86 truck and used a quest
intake. Runs pretty well, gets about the same mpg as my Weber, better acceleration.
Well, the quest intake doesn't have enough room for the trucks f/p and had to make a
plug/plate that isn't working that well and ...

Quest AUTO trans swap.. No, the 'other' way
In this low mileage 86 ram50 that I have is the baby 904 trans that just isn't getting the mpg that I'm looking for. (like 14!!)
SO, I have a couple options.
1, 87 ram50 auto 4spd
2, 88 quest auto but the linkage is on the other side, and NO TV cable.. (but what looks like a after-market converter ...

Bill, fantastic work.. Is the C-4 the only trans housing that you're making for this?
As in the second pic in your thread, What is the rough dimensions of the engine complete from manifold to manifold, and front of pulleys to rear?
Is that hole above the bell housing the water outlet of the engine ...

86 D50 auto trans Q's
Picked up a really clean 86 d50 that's an auto (2.6) and wondering if it's the baby 904 or quest auto?
And if it IS an auto worth rebuilding, are there any higher stall converters for them?
Thanks E

The Hornet is still 'simmerin' in the shop. I've got some projects that need to get put together and sold before I start back on it.
For the BMW, I'd like to get it running (pretty much stock) and enjoy it during the nicer weather. And by that time I should be finished building the 2.4 turbo motor ...

I was given another 3rd member from a friend that turns out to be a 3.78.
In looking at this one compared ...
