4g63 engines are easy to make power, very strong engine and reliable. As far as engine swaps, any thing is possible. Choice engines is a preference. Also depends on budget, power you want to make, and what you are trying to do.

RB parts are not easy to come by. As far as 2jz swap in a mighty max, already been done by me. I did this swap like many other swaps to prove that it can be done. Wasnt a hard swap. thinking about going with a W58 tranny in the mighty max, but the only question now is what hydraulic master cylinder to use. Also how to set it up.

The truck chassis wire harness needs to stay in place, replace the engine harness with the 4g63 engine harness, then follow the info I sent you for powering up the 4g63 harness.

Go with a ford 8.8 rear diff, may require some fabrication but that will be a very nice setup.

For the price and what the DSMlink does, you cannot go wrong with it. I have used a SAFC and a datalogger, made nice power with it. The dsmlink allows you to do more and control more for tuning. AEM is still the best but you can do the same with dsmlink. DSMlink 3 is really nice.

Pm sent with info. My car everything runs like factory, plan on writing a entire tutorial on wiring. There is alot of info out there and different ways to getting the car running. The main thing is getting power to and from the MPI relay.

Dsmlink is the best way to go, its a eprom setup that allows you to control all your ecu perimeters, save maps, and datalog. Very easy to use. And if you contact them when ordering it, you can tell them your current mods and they can set up a base map for you to start out with.

Check and see it the 6 bolt 1g FWD turbo eclipse flywheel will line up to the 4g64 block. I think it will due to the fact that the blocks are almost the same. And if the 1g flywheel works then I would go with a 1g ACT fwd flywheel. Or you can even go with AC competition flywheel.

Swapping trail housing on D50 transmission

Any guide on swapping the starion shifter tail housing onto a d50 tranny. Should someone be able to remove the bolts, slide the rear tail housing off and swap it onto the d50 tranny. Do you have to remove the small pin inserts on the shifter push rod? Any guidance or even pics.

The 4G63 engines are one of the most strongest and cheapest engines to build in the import seen. Rebuilding these engines are fairly easy as well. I know a 87-88 2.0 transmission will work on a 4g63 swap, but is the 86 D50 2.0 transmission is narrow.
