R154 transmission

Does the R154 transmission requires any modifying the tranmission tunnel to fit or is it a clear fit. Trying to decide on a w55,w58 or R154.

It all depends on your application. I have a Datsun 510 that originally came with an auto trans. I only needed to locate the shifter hole. The stock trans mount bracket was even close to fitting.

What about the w55 or w58 transmission clearance in a starion.
