4g63 intake manifold question

Post by abstract »

Swaping my starion, have a question about the intake manifold and need some direction. I don't want to remove the brake booster spacer. I have a regular 4g63 intake manifold and a cyclone one. I was thinking that the cyclone one will work better when it change around the throttle body, but I don't know will it clear every thing underneth the runners, also will it clear the brake booster. Has anyone used this one, or the EVO ones. Any one on board can modify the intake to work. Need some direction and possible pics. Really don't want to remove the brake booster spacer

On the regular DSM intake, trim off the EGR runner and back of the plenum up to the 4th runner. Should clear fine.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

So by doing this I don't have to remove the spacer on the brake booster?
