not bad, im positive that we can make these work but he doesnt have any with offset outlet/inlet does he? me personally the bottom inlet would be more of a problem since the water pump is on the opposite side.

no you do not need a fusebox from the donor car, if you check the wires behind the ignition tumbler, you should be able to see which one has constant power at all times, which one has power on the ignition position and then ofcourse the wire that will trigger the starter on the start position.

so i finally decided to put on the modified evo intake that bill fabbed up for me. well, i thought that i would be able to use the stock 1st gen turbo dsm t.b. but its way too small for the evo tb mount flange.
after digging through my pile o crap, i realized that i had a sonata t.b. that mates up ...

does anyone have a spare or can anyone make a custom o2 housing/downpipe for the rwd setup that they would want to sell? this is pretty much the only thing that i need so please let me know asap.

im running a evo3 turbo and stock headers, nothing fancy

it fired up finally!! the problem was that i was missing the 30amp fuse to the main relay. now on i go to work out the gremlins.

ok the 1 spade temp sensor should take the yellow with green stripe wire that goes to your guage


the t connector on the other hand

the yellow with green wire that goes to pin 20 on the ecu is on the I part of the T

wow bill! i think that thing looks great! you had a way better plan for welding up the runners than i did. i was thinking of leaving and inch of the dsm runniners sticking out and reducing them until they sleeveed into the evo intake, im pretty sure it would have looked horrible but it was an idea ...

the outcome was that gap that you see right between the actuator and bracket but atleast i connected a to b. so what i have planned is to wedge in a melon slice shaped spacer and tack weld it in.

to be honest with you i didnt really need to clock the compressor housing at all, i was fortunate enough to barely clear anything but it cleared at a safe distance.

the only thing i ran into right after i posted the pics for you is the stock wastegate but i figured that out already i just carefully ...

ok now this is what i came up with for my water pipe and lines.

i decided to use the truck water pump and water pipe. so i cut the pipe right after the bracket just so it would be kept into place in the water pump
note: i am not using a heater core

heres the oil cooler line
i cut it right down the middle, added some fittings and flared. then i used a coupler to unite the 3 pieces together. on the turbo side i straightend out the line and on the new metal line i just bent it @ a 90 degree angle

ok i just got done with the oil drain heres what i did
1st i chopped the dsm oil drain tube and got rid of the accordian piece all together.

for one side i just left an inch of a stub sticking out for the pan side

the pulley that i used from the galant is the water pump pulley that pulls the p.s. pulley, sorry if i confused anyone. but it is the w.p pulley that sat behind the larger pulley on the w.p

the larger pulley wont work because its just to big in diameter and hits the waterneck. now on the galant pulley, i tried putting it on the wrong way but it just stuck out too far. but i thought about what you were thinking before i ran into the pulley clearance issue.
