Oil pan, issue. or not?
is running the the stock pan on a 4g63 gunna work? as far as acceleration?
I made my own motor mounts, so i have the clearance.
Or do i need to make my own pan with a rear sump?

the intake was alittle over 500 and the TB was 140. I talked to JMFab. directly and had it modified through them for the RWD. They can also shorten the runners if thats what you need to clear the brake booster.
Im going to pollish the intake myself. Also, i just got the rear section of my roll cage ...

guess not. I ordered my JMF intake, bought a roll cage, and fabbed up my tranny crossmember. just an update. I will say that with the TH-400 you cant reuse the stock trans Xmember, because of the shape of the pan. However you can reuse it with some modification, if you are using the TH-350.

Im not sure on what size is the right size to go with for my app.
I was lookin at 35-38mm and it seemed nice, then i found alot of 46mm sizes. That seemed like overkill, but i really dont know.
I am looking to run mid to low 10s in the quarter, not sure on how much horsepower thats gunna require ...

Well I ended up scapping the old motor mounts that everyone else uses because of height issues on the cam gears and the angle of the trans, plus intake issues with the brake booster. So i fabbed up my own solid mounts. Works out great. heres pics.

Mid 2 Early 90s (Hatch Style) FWD Colt.
I Saw 2 at the DSM shootout last year, with the 4G6X and I thought that was bad ass! So Im looking for links or comments on the pros and cons, as far as the build is concerned. Like....
will the motor just drop right in?
with the stock DSM tranny 5sp. work (fit) in it?
will the stock axles spile up ...

I pulled my motor and tranny back out, to tie up some loose ends and i noticed before i pulled it out and after i put it back in, that it seated itself at an ocward angle. or for a better example the cam gears are gunna hit the hood! that shouldnt be like that.
