what's the specs on both? obviously the duration is the same...but what about lift? BC makes good cams for a very reasonable price. i've seen good results with 264/272 setups

I heard that the HKS cams are pretty much a straight install. If you go with a different brand, you should get a set of adjustable cam gears.
I have also heard of people making some good setups with the offset cams.
I guess i will go check out tuners for some more info

What are your goals? What kind of driving are you planning on doing? What kind of setup do you have?

I also recommend the FP3 cams for a 2.4

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

My opinion is based on the 2.4. I've seen dyno sheets compared to HKS cams where the FP3 cams made power on all parts of the rev band. I think they're more of a high ramp rate mid range cam by comparison. If you have a 2.0 and will rev it to 9000rpm, maybe there are better cams out there. Maybe the BC cams are better for a 2.0.

Don't be afraid of wild cams for a street car.

I'm not affraid of a large cam, I personally don't want anything to do with them. My question is for my future build that will be a 2.4 liter turbo in a truck that will probally not see 6500+ RPMs. I'm looking for torque and don't want to spin to 7k+ to get it, not to mention the fact that I don't want a "Lope" letting anyone know what my ugly little truck has hiding under the hood.
