I just used the stock ones from the 4g64 I pulled out of it. They bolt right up as long as you clearanced the firewall.

Will the 2.6 mounts be the same or do I need to find some 2.0 mounts?
I am going to modify the mounts to move the motor foard enough to clear the firewall with a modified themostat housing.

Are the 2.4 mounts and 2.0 mounts the same? Trying to widen my options when I visit the yards :)

Section 11 - 510 of CAPS:
Image

The Mitsubishi part numbers for both the right and left 4G63 / 4G64 mounting brackets is: MD041030

This also shows me definitively that the RIGHT mounts from a Starion G54B will work on both sides of the 4G63 / 4G64.

The rubber mounts have lots of different part numbers:
MD43612, MD006605, MB309030, MB309031. Any clue what the differences are for the rubber mounts? Some have brackets to bolt a heat shield to which might make for some differences.

Edit.... "02085R" sure looks different for the V6... either way CAPS says its the same MD041030 part number so... who knows.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Sadly it doesn't have Starion stuff in it.

I have version 3.41 with the Oct 2004 update.
Zipped up its 230MB!!! I got it here: http://www.akchun.com/caps/index.html

I saw that the 3000GT club had some links to a full JDM version but they wanted to charge me to download it. This version is pretty sweet though.

i used the one of the 2.6 mounts and then found another one. but as for the rubber portion on the mount, the mighty max was 3/8" taller then the quest mounts. thats the only difference i saw.
I am currently making a one piece solid mount that sits alittle lower then stock.

oldcolt75....

if you go to a parts store to get mounts, you'll only get the rubber part, the part that actually bolts to the block, would have to come from either Mitsubishi, or the junkyard. The rubber parts I believe were the same for the Starion/Conquest, and the Mighty Max/D50, but it was mentioned above that the MM/D50 mounts sit a bit higher, I've not confirmed this either way

In your case, putting the 4g into a Colt, I'm not sure if there is a "factory" mount that will just bolt everything together. Hopefully, some of the other Colt guys can chime in here.

Does anyone know for sure whether the metal bracket part that bolts to the block (MD041030) also fits Evo blocks?

I can go take some pictures of the evo block if that would help?

Similarly, does anyone have any pictures of the these brackets mounted to their 4G blocks that they could post, please?
