but there is another thing u can do
instead the pipe from the water pump all the way 2 the back into the goose neck u can plug off the line an on the water pump outlet
u will see another water jacket...
that water jacket can be removed and u can fabricate a pipe 2 go there..
that will be the "in' 2 ...

but isn't the difference between the 1 an 2g head is the air flow?
cause 1 is a 6pin an the other is a 7pin
i am running a 1g block with a 2g head non turbo.
an i dismantled turbo head 1g and a non turbo head 2g

all the valves were the same an ports for cooling an oil

soo i got the car 2 work properly.........
when i bought the engine..
i did not take out or adjust anything so that i will not fall in to any problems but guess what?...

i cannot get 1 and i dont no what it looks like or even have the jack for the air flow sensor......

we fixed and secured all the wires and the engine will not rev now :( :(

i had the radiator hoses mixed up so the water was not circulating ....
i went and moved the ports on the radiator so hopefully that will be good now
its just left 2 sort out the electrical

thanks bill.........if i had seen that post ah sooner i would have saved some money on the electrical that i did.......... and 2 ppl did it eh but something is wrong still............... its ah non turbo 63 i dunno if its the 1g or 2g engine
anyhow......... the engine was started WITHOUT THE AIR ...

there are 1 line that is coming out from the thermostart unit ( dont no where that is going)\\\



then there are 2 lines coming out from the pipe line that goes 2 ...

the flywheel is the same, I have run one in the past. You want the 88 quest because it uses the bigger clutch.. The earlier flywheels are the same but drilled for the smaller clutch which is probally the same diameter as you stock one. The bigger quest clutch is 225mm I believe.

hmm not 2 sure but i am going the same kinda swap but my engine is going into a galent

i used the original sirus 2000 engine mounts and the gear box bolted up directly on the engine
i also used the same thermostart unit that the 4g63 came with
we beated in the firewall and did ah lil cutting

I went back and redisigned the R 154 bellhousing to accept the EVO bolt pattern as well as the narrow block
This will also include the option of an AWD flywheel or the FWD flywheel depending on where the starter is drilled when ordered

the only non-turbo 4G63 AWD that I know of is a Galant GSX. Is that what you are asking???

well if so i did this about ah month ago with no problems
direct bolt up in ah 4g67
which is suppose 2 be the same as the 4g63 cause the
cylinder head gasket and other parts are interchangable


the starter also fall in the same position with d rwd set up( cause i am turning around ...

well any how my guess was rite
the engine bolted directly on the sirus mounts and on the sirus gear box
the problem is the water unit is hitting the fire wall
some thing needs 2 move
not sure as yet

the sirus 2000 fly wheel bolts up directly on d evo block
i am putting ah 4g67 in ah rwd galent and i am using the sirus gear box
with the engine
also the sirus 2000 sandwich plate bolts up directly in my block so it will
work 4 u 2

yeah ppl
on the 4g67 block there are 2 bolt hole positions
1 is closer 2 the front of the engine and the next 1
is close 2 the middle of the engine


i no that the bolt hole position closer 2 the front is 4 the front wheel drive mounts so that mean the bolt hole positions in the middle is 4 the rear ...

The cas is the Cam Angle Sensor, on the early hohc engines, it also served as the crank angle sensor.

The engine cannot run without this as it orchestrates the ignition and injectors firing.

i most likely feel is the linkages or the selector on the gear box
its bent or out of alignment

i was not getting 1st 2nd and sometimes reverse but my problem was my shifter
i had a 4speed shifter instead of a 5speed
the rear wheel drive sirus 2000 and 5fw box in a galent
