Idle problem

Post by nick0900 »

Hi guys got my car going in the weekend but it seems I have a problem with my idle... It will start up idle for a few seconds then just die, I can rev the motor up but have to keep it at about 3000rpm to keep it from cutting out. Any ideas? Seems like a fuel problem to me im running about 3bar through the fuel pressure reg?

no, wrong! the cam sensor wouldnt really play into it like that. its got something to do with your after start enrichment. Are you running the stock ECU and injectors or was there some dabbling happening there?

actaully yes timming could be apart of the problem. but most likley its tps or isc issues or even if its a stock turbo mitsu t bady could be a biss screw setting. or a vented bov while running a draw through mas. a little more info could help use better help you. whatcha got kid?
