Does anyone here have there 4g63t RWD swap smog legal in CA

I have a 4g63t swapped into my truck with all emissions. Per what I was told by the Smog Refs is to swap an engine it has to be newer engine than vehicle, and retain all smog equipment. I did both. I took it to the smog ref and he had problems with the down pipe, it didnt go under the engine like ...

The 4g63 pulley fit fine on my truck waterpump, well all three actually. But you're right it doesn't line up, so I took it to someone with a press and had them press the pulley back on itself so it would line up.

I have a narrowblock transmission, $125, KM132 5 speed that was bolted up to my 4g63t. Also have everything else for the swap as I am parting out my swap. I am located in Nor-Cal but willing to ship, but shipping will be around $110 as that is what I paid to have it shipped to me.

You don't use the whole thing just the top piece that covers the thermostat. All this does is make it so the radiator hose isnt pointing towards the firewall but right out towards the pas side of the engine, also removes an a/c temp sensor

They came in 87-96 Mighty Max's/ Ram50s. Just depends, they usually came in the higher end upgraded models of the trucks.

with the 6bolt you can use the 4g63 flywheel and pressure plate with your g63b truck clutch disk, I would assume you can probably do the same with the 7 bolt? The 4g63 clutch disk is the wrong size spline or count to go onto the truck tranny.

I just cut out a fuse panel from my parts truck so it was easier to get to, then you can take out the little fuse clips in the fuse block with a small flathead screw driver and insert them into the fuse block in your truck.

Yes, thats the code for the 5-speed narrowblock tranny. Came in trucks from around 86-89, earlier km132 were 4-speed. Can't see anywhere on my spare KM-132 I have sitting in the garage that has the tranny code on it.

Mighty Max's not only came with a g54b, they also came with a 4g64(2.4L FI) and a 2.0l (g63b) which is the tranny you want to use becuase that block came in a narrowblock version.

D50/Mighty Max trannies are cable operated instead of hydraulic operated. So you'll have to run a cable setup or fab a hydrualic setup if you want to run it that way.

When the wastegate actuator opens up the wastegate in the turbo is supposed to open all the way correct? Having problems getting the actuator to travel far enough to open it all the way. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks

I am very interested in that manifold bill. If you do start to make them I will probably need one after I complete my swap and getting it running correctly before I take it to the smog ref.
