84 D50 5speed with a stock 4g63. Running daily for just over 2 years. No major problems yet. I like the older D50 look.
I get scared when I shift hard through the gears (a little clunky) so I mostly drive around and do long hard pulls in 2nd or 3rd gear for fun every now and then. Recently gave the ...

My '84 truck has been running daily for 14 months now-only problems were leaked caps in the ECU, a broken clutch cable, clogged fuel filter, short in the wirinig that drains the battery (marine battery disconect "fixed" that) and continued idle surge in cold weather. During that run it reads 0.87V the entire time, then drops to 0.01 when I got off the gas.
Same reading for a run right after that.

I am using MMCd to log on my D50 swap. Everything seems in the normal range but a few.

1) Baro (nml 0.7-1.1 bar) always reads 0.00 bar or 0.07 psi

2) Air temp (nml 0-200 degrees) always reads -17 celcius or 1.3 F

3) EGRT (I do not know what this is) always reads -16.8 F

I guess it is either bad ...

I also wired the diagnostic port to the ECU as above. I log and read codes with MMCd and a palm IIIx, but before that I just used an analog voltometer (black to pin 10 or 12 and red to pin 1) and count the long and short sweeps to get codes.
I did not wire a check engine light.

I decided to put in a new 02 sensor as part of my fix for idle surge (turns out I did not need to any way)
When I took out my old one, the bung was stripped. i think I warped it from too much heat when welding it in. The sensor went in with lots of resistance originally.

Had a major boost leak from the brake booster with with 1g DSM non-turbo booster and MM master cylinder combo. Looks like the proximal end is shaped differently and may be involved with sealing.

Right on, huge boost leak in fact, multiple places. I'll let you know what happens when I get em fixed.

FYI, don't unscrew the BISS too far when the intake is pressurized to 20 psi-i almost shot my eye out.
