I depends on the T5. Different T5's were built to handle different torque ratings. Look at the serial number on your T5 and then refer to this chart:

If you absolutely want to go with the T56, you will need a bell housing made. Bills Auto Fab makes them for a reasonable price to bolt a T56 to a 2.4 Wideblock. you would need an AWD Eclipse Flywheel, and a DSM clutch with a T56 center section. To my Knowledge, My 1981 Challenger is the only 4G63 swapped Chellenger in the country. I would love to see someone else do it. It wasnt easy but it was easier than I thought it would be. If you have any questions feel free to ask!!

I used a buschur Turbo350 adapter and reversed sheet metal intake on the Challenger and everything lined up perfectly, Made the hard stuff so much easier! I used to be a DSM guy but got tired of replacing Tranny's so now I'm a RWD 4G63 Guy!!
