Could you get away with painting the intake and maybe wrapping the exhaust to hide it a bit more for the next one? That might be some camouflage so the next guy does not notice it

They are the early 4 bolt axles. I have read that the six bolt units will hold more but break in the same spot. Is it worth it to upgrade? I can actually order new 4bolt dudes from my local parts house. But they have no listing for the 6. So yeah I am not real sure what to do here[/b]

spapped the axles in two. from where the clips hold it into the rear end clean breaks. the rest is still inside the housing. its all got to come apart to get them out

Well on my build the starion fitting was too short and did not fit on my eclipse rail. What I did was cut the line just above the fuel filter out of site and got a double barb fitting to splice in the dsm fuel line for the rail. It looks stock and does not leak

Just a Side Note, 4663 and 4G64 Rods ARE the same.
and you get a 2.3L motor because the bore is smaller.

You can use the 4g64 crank with the 4g63 rods. You just need pistons with a relocated wrist pin whole to bring the piston down further so it doesnt smash your head. What we always did on the dsm 4g63 running that as well as ecu link was set all the maf-t values to 0 and run tuning off of the ecu link. The seven bolt crank will not fit in the six bolt block. They will not work together. Go down to the parts store and find a flexplate for a pre 94 mighty max that has the same engine. Before 94 they were 6 bolt iirc. This should solve all your issues with no fab or custom parts then bolt it all ...

Well I was able to find a stock intake hear in town. It will not fit in the starquests without some other modifications It will hang down to low and hit the steering box and wont bolt up on the bottom.

You have to use a 94 galant 4g64 dohc belt or a 4g64 sohc belt. The 4g63 belt will be too shorter with the added 6mm deck hight


If you go to the project zero g home page and look in the part numbers section in the drop down menu under 4g6x swap you it will give you both belt options and part numbers
