This is a really cool swap and i look forward to seeing how it goes. The crossfire is like a newer version of the conquest anyway so its a fine match, hell u could even rebadge it a "crossquest" haha. The NAG1 is a strong tranny its also used in the dodge sprinters, u must have made some serious ...

I have a 6bolt flexplate from a '95 sonata that had the 4g63, the flexplate on this did not have the ring gear on the the flexplate rather is was on the torque converter and the flexplate attached to the converter with 3 bolts. If this sounds similar i can send u ...

I built a rear sump oil pan using the OEM oil pan's flange. I have not finished my project, and i have not finished welding the oil pan together (just tacked it together), my welder is a POS as are my welding skills so i think im going to get it professionally TIG welded. The problems with the OEM ...

I have also built a megasquirt ECU however i went with MS2 and loaded it with the MS2EXTRA code. Controlling the coils is straight forward u can either control them directly on the board or as im planning on doing use the stock Power transistor the same way the stock ecu controls them. The tricky ...

I think a set of quality adjustable cam gears is the way to go if u dont want the hassle of getting stockers re-drilled and like to be able to tune. They may cost more, but if your setup ever changes such as going from NA to Turbo u can easily adjust cam timing. Also if u race the car, u can change ...

Best way to think of torque is a force. A force (torque) exerting itself over a distance/time (RPM) = work (HP). So if u have a small amount of torque but its exerted at high RPM u can have the same HP as alot of torque exerted over a small RPM. A force cant do any work unless its moving, and there ...

Yeah now ur the second guy saying the 4G32 and 4G63 use the same mounts, maybe its cause my engine was a from a hyundai? Oh and its not from an Elantra it was from a 95 Sonata, its was pretty easy modding the Stellar mounts to work with new engine, and it allowed me to mount the engine as low as ...

Anyone have any experience engine wise doing this? My motor came from an automatic and it has this bushing in the crank flange that i cannot remove. The only really similarity between the 4g32 and the 4g63 is they have the same bellhousing bolt pattern. The 4g32 uses a 5 bolt flywheel/crank, and because of the balance shafts, the 4g63 is wider, its also a bit longer so the oil pan is a no go. I think i have the km132 i have seen pics on here and ...

'86 Hyundai Stellar 4G63 swap
I have been planning this swap for as long as i knew it was possible. And i have finnally started it thanks to this and other sites. The car is Canada/Euro market only but i think the US got the very similar Hyundai Pony. The engine is a Hyundai 4G63 from a 95 Sonata i scored for around 300bux for ...

Megasquirt EFI wiring harness
I got this from DIYAutotune its this one
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/1239 ... -p-43.html
turns out it will be easier for me to make a custom harness so if somone is converting to megasquirt this is the thing to have.

Im am planning to swap a 4g63 from a '95 Hyundai Sonata into my '86 Hyundai Stellar. The Stellar is a RWD car, based on the Ford Cortina suspension platform. The pathetic 78HP 1.6 SOHC is making way for a real engine. Im also planning to run the EFI via Megasquirt, that im going to assemble from ...
