i had a turbo 2 fc once. when i got it, it didn't like to start. i took the fuel line off to see if i was getting fuel. i had my brother (who can be quite impatient at times) turn the key on so i could see if i was getting fuel. it wasn't. she had an open in the fuel pump wire in the engine bay. so ...

i set the tps using factory specs from alldata...it reads 5v at wide open and .4v or so at closed. i know it is not a boost leak...110%. on the i/c side of it anyway. brand new intercooler and piping...and for shits and giggles i did a leakdown test on the i/c system and confirmed its good. a bad ...

not sure how they solved it...but they did. i've never really read up on the 7 bolts too in depth...never reallly saw the need with the availability of 6 bolts, so i'm not sure if the crankwalk is "solvable". i know the earlier 2g galants ('94) were 2.0 (4g63) not sure when they made the switch to ...

it definately smells rich. i'm about to hook up the LM-1 and see just how rich. but like i said it dies when i let off the throttle. i haven't had it running for more than about 30 sec cause i haven't had the radiator hooked up. when i give it some gas it stumbles then clears up. symptoms are the ...

bad idle
so here's the new rundown. i've got it to where i can start it on demand. it's just takes some skill to do so lol. it's similar to a blown charge pipe. the topic says bad idle...but really it's NO idle. but when i rev it up it runs pretty clean. but when i stop giving it gas it shuts off.
i'm ...

the evo shares a block with the 4g galant. mounts are different in those from the eclipse/talon 4g. i.e. no provisions in the block for the front lateral mount(evo/galant is on the tranny). and the evo's fixed the crankwalk issue common with the 7 bolts. other than that...i don't think they are too ...

prob shutting down
get this...my swap will start, and not stop when i turn the ign switch off. hmmm. i thought the problem was getting it started...not turning it off lol.
it also doesn't want to idle right. it'll go to stall then pick right back up. any ideas or, preferably, solutions?

you guys wouldn't be using the stock ecu connectors. you'd be using the one provided by MS. then you can just run the stock 1g harness for the engine bay and wire up the MS connector. i've done that on an eclipse before. you just gotta get the MS with the dsm mods and it'll run the cas no prob. it's ...
