t3 flange 56 trim .70 a/r cold .63 a/r hot daul ball bearing 65 lbm.. same turbo that i have but mines not BB. it spoold real quick on the 2.4 and hits real hard at only 12 psi.

Cool, im not a fan of running big boost, so thats good news to hear....It would be great if i could make 400hp with 15 ...

I have a 1.6 long block and intake manifold...the intake looks just like a 1g turbo intake manifold, so i might have that one modded for my swap!! The head also looks the same, but im sure the cams,springs..etc are diff from a turbo 2.0!! :wink:

Just the other day i decided to see if a had a eprom ecu in my 91 laser rs...and guess what...I do..and it's perfect!!! :D No acid, very clean!! Thats one less part i need for my swap.....And to think i only paid $500 bucks for the whole car!!! :D Anyway, for now my plans are getting it chipped for ...

It's official the d-50 drive shaft will not just bolt in being thats it's almost 2 feet longer(5 1/2 feet)...however the good news is that the d-50 driveshaft will bolt in if it was shorter meaning that yok and tail end has the same bolt pattern...The d-50 driveshaft also seems to be a beefer ...

Buy a eprom ecu($250) No one wants to run with the stock mass so ($50) for a GM mass ($200) for a 1g-2g mass translater ($595) for dsm link..do the math... That being said i herd great things aout the DSM link ease of use, great control.....Im just saying for the same price you can get a full stand ...

Ive got to check to see if i have a eprom ecu in my 91 laser, if i do im just gonna get it chipped for 850cc injectors($100) and us a SAFC($75 buying from my brother) to fine tune with.. this set-up shoud be good for 300-400hp...But i agree dsm link is to pricey once you add in everything you need ...

Would a Mightymax or a D-50 driveshaft work with out mods? i belive it's longer than the starion driveshaft...So if you move the engine forward 2in the mightymax driveshaft might be the one to use, if your using the d-50 trans...

Well i would like to know how much he charges to build a d-50 trans....as long as it's not a crazy amount, i would go for it...im planning on buying another d-50 trans from someone later this week for penneys....so as far as trannys go im in good shape!!

Any know if a mazda 2000(2.0lt truck) trans will work? I got lucky and found a 88 mitsubitshi mighty max at my local junk yard today!!! So i'll get the trans and motor mounts soon...Will i need anything else from the mighty max?

Does anyone know if the revhard manifold will work with the starion 4g63 swap, it might hit on the left side???..... I may be able to get one for real cheap, all i would have to do is get a t3 flange on there, and i'll be set...

Just a couple of questions guys..

*How do you know what compression you are going to be running? even if you go with a 8:1 pistons, the compression may be higher because of the head deck height...so how can you tell.
*I could have sowrn i read some where that the 4g63 head is not totally plug in ...

I will tell you now that a t2 tranny is no stonger, i'ts prolly a little weaker than the starion tranny....Don't forget the starion tranny was made to hold lots of tq!! 235ftlbs stock...My brother has a t2 and he says up to about 300hp is all the t2 tranny is good for..alot of the mazda guys go ...

Ok cool, so would i have to make trans mounts too? or do those bolt up also? Just to make sure i read eveything on your site correct... Use d-50 motor mounts for a direct bolt up, and modify the firewall, use d-50 trans modify some, no drive shaft moidfacation needed..........COOL!! DO you guys ...

Isn't the flow better if you keep the turbo bottom mounted.....Unless you want to go with a huge turbo then you would need top mount...

The reason i asked, is because my laser rs is fwd and it wouldn't make sense to have 300hp to the wheels in something thats not possitive traction...hell this car already spins to much!! so if i swap in a awd tranny, and bypass the differential, making it fwd, then would be possitive traction ...

Does anyone know if you put a awd tranny in a fwd car, would it work, also would that make it possitive traction, because the stock fwd tranny is not.....i know it's kinda off the the topic......sorry!!! :)
