As if there arn't enough options out there it looks like I managed to find a couple more

page 17 at the bottom J.W. Transmissions sells adapters that looks like they use the stock bellhousing and can use either a Jerico transmission ($$$$$$$$$$$$$ but the ultimate in manual transmissions) or a GM transmission. Just another alternative to what people might want to put behind their motor.

Any know if a mazda 2000(2.0lt truck) trans will work? I got lucky and found a 88 mitsubitshi mighty max at my local junk yard today!!! So i'll get the trans and motor mounts soon...Will i need anything else from the mighty max?

The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

i dont know if you guys are aware but shep racing aparntly does trannies for world sport on high hp aplications well narrow block trannies anyway the counter guy slipped when i called today :twisted: waiting for a price

its the shop ercic plebani owns or works at or what ever. as soon as he gets back to me about the tranny ill let you know.
since you using the rx7 tranny i met a guy with a rotary carola at the car wash around the block for me he had a nasty street port 12a with a holley 750 and said he was hiting it with 200 shot and he swore by the 79 rx7 tranny in his car dunno if that helps

Well i would like to know how much he charges to build a d-50 trans....as long as it's not a crazy amount, i would go for it...im planning on buying another d-50 trans from someone later this week for penneys....so as far as trannys go im in good shape!!

hey got back to me today he said he no longer offers those tranny services and the guy i spoke to on the phone miss informed me about shep :cry:
he recomended an adapter and t56 oh well back to square one
88 conquest 4g63 now sporting a crankwalked boat anchor
