Go Pro Action. First run was a shakedown @25psi-11.8@134 spinfest
Second pass was 11.0@143 33psi (2.0 60 ft bog)
10.8 pass-go pro was dead! 1.88 60 ft.

I am tempted to load her back up and try to touch a 9 before the baby comes, but we will see. :axe:

Well I know I row'd the gears with ease at 8k, at that was with a motor than in theory was applying just as much of not more torque tot he shaft than I would be.
If Bill was interested, I would send him the box. Its the best and least expensive modern 6 speed available, and comes with a normal push ...

NEW 6 speed option- VQ35?? (Calling Bill)
It seems the G35/350z trannys are getting cheap. Seem to be a SOLID 6 speed option-and has pretty strong internals.
I have one here-Bill would you have any interest in making a plate? You put them together, and I will get them on something.

Originally purchased from Japanese Auto Salvage-this was do for a 240 build. It sat for nearing 2 years, and the previous owner has since lost motivation to do anything with the set up.

And is anyone using them?
I need a lock up trans, and a 4 speed would be nice. This fits the bill, and the budget. Anyone know anything about them?

SOHC head on a DOHC
Ok, so after some research its obvious the Evo head will be too much work. A little poking around has shown that another viable option to get the exhaust flying out the back instead of the front is a 2.4 SOHC 16v head out of a 99+Galant-4G64/G4CS- flip motor (#1 on pass side). Form experience, these ...

Evo head on 1G bottom end-
For the project-it would be very beneficial to have the exhaust and intake switched. I believe Tym did it a few years ago in his white evo, but he is calling me back on that. Otherwise-anyone do it? Does it work on paper? It does in my eyes-and I don’t mind being a pioneer if I have to be!

Anyone know a good technique to shorten shifter cables?
The new project is coming along well. An issue I have run into is my 1G shifter cables are WAY to long to do the job, also to long to sub in Colt shift cables. They need to be shortened by ½, likely on the tranny side. Anyone know of a good DIY technique to get this done?
