finally got my intercooler installed :)

Well, I had some time today and a saw, so I finished the cutting of my frame rails and fitted the intercooler. The mounting hardware included with the intercooler are nice, but wouldn't work, so I went out and bought a stip of holy metal. ;) anyway, it worked pretty good, and it looks sweet. Now I ...

Hi, again.

I was technology on sqc but got banned for e-fighting, but mostly, I just want to talk about car stuff, and since this site is now much more oriented toward my ...

are you kidding me?

have you done that yet?

just go out there with a hammer and hit the protrustion from the side, it will come out, use a large flatblade screwdriver to pry it out if you must.

there is a 99.99 % chance i'm right. maybe even higher.

was that engine N/A origionally? if so, it's probably a whole lot of sucky. probably no oil squirters.

that may be a steel bushing that you can tap out with a hammer. tap on the side and see if it starts to loosen.

BTW, if it was a N/A motor, it's a 420A and 100% not built for boost.

headers crack all the time. how many people have posted about their stock header that is cracked, or it warped and broke the last stud, so now they get to heli-coil it.

engine fire happens cause something leaks like injectors. if your fuel ral isn't secured or injectors aren't seated properly, i ...

i've seen some of these pics before on the other boards. looks pretty good, back could be lower, oh well. and the header panel in front of the hood needs to be replaced. good luck.

modify a stock starion I/C -> 2.5" in/out.

well with an engine setup like that, you could enter a drift/road race contest, win and get money that way. ;)

i live in a suburb of minneapolis, MN. there is a local DSM board and several of the guys have the narrow 2.4 and are making HUGE power (one guy recently dyno'd at ~615 whp) stock crank ...

hey, i just registered, i like the site! it's like tristarion, so it's familiar!

anyway. you guys are headed in the right direction with the wide 2.4 as far as instalation ease goes.

BUT... you need to focus on the really cool/wicked/almost insane swap.

2.4 with 2.0 crank. i talked about this ...
