modifying the pan is cake, I've built a few pans from scratch, its not that hard if you've got some time, basic tools, and a welder.

I'll post pics of what im doing to mine this weekend.

As for your S13 front suspension swap, have you looked into the rear of the S12? If you plan on drifting this ...

Figured someone would finally do a 4G in a nissan. I too am doing one in my 240sx. Based on the large number of measurements I took the 4G63 will sit in almost the exact place a KA24E would. Just use the mighty max brackets and stock 240sx motor mounts. You'll want to modify the pan a bit as its a ...

I think the idea was to use something thick enough that it will stay on the syncro's.

While randomly searching last night came up with this, thought it might be extremely useful to those of us using d50 transmissions

Also chatted with a guy at PIR over the weekend who's done a lot of 24hr races in starions. His thoughts were that ...

im thinking maybe the reason DJ was having the issues is becuase the race on the tailshaft bearing might not have been correct. seems the guys who leave the units alone have a better experience than the guys who swap the tail shaft housings.

I pulled my tailshaft housing last weekend and did some ...

So any clues on when these will become available? I'd love to be able to purchase one of your bellhousings as soon as they're ready :)

On a side note, could someone give me a measurement of the approx shifter location on the R-154 relative to the face of the bellhousing?

that's really interesting, I'm going to attempt the route that PiercedJD took, wich involves welding shut the existing mounting holes in the W58 bellhousing and re-drilling them for the 4G63

Did you have any issues /w input shaft length?

the toyota W58 tranny is a copy of a Tremec T-5...I'm sure some strengthening can be done. People use this tranmission for all sorts of swaps in to old itallian/british/etc cars. Either way 350hp is alot more than a starion tranny can hold :)

Not to mention a DSM narrow block is incredibly easy to ...
