This is kind of the opposite of what you want, but not really. It shows the wires in both the 1g CAS connector and the 2g CAS and crank sensor. Depending on what you are using for an ECU, you will need to invert the signal like in the pic. If you can flash the ECU to use the inverted signal you will ...

It was in the link in your other post.

You have a 7-bolt wide DSM style block (if it's the original engine). The easiest DOHC head would be from the 7-bolt (2g) turbo Eclipses or Talons as it bolts straight on to the block.

The Galant engine is a narrow block (as is all 90's+ front wheel drive ...

I would actually suggest going with either a 3g harness or an evo 8 harness (if I remember correctly, the difference is only the boost controller wire on the evo harness). That way you could use the 3g ecu (they're cheap) and just flash the evo rom onto it. There's plenty of info about it on club3g ...

A 95 Mighty Max is a 7-bolt wideblock.
The transmission fits, but you would have to change out the tail section with a Conquest/Starion. You would be better off using a Conquest/Starion transmission, which will bolt to the wideblock.

Montero sport block option

Thought this was interesting. The Montero Sport is apparently a wide block and has a block mounted thermostat housing.

There is some speculation that the transmission is a Toyota r154. It's pretty rough trying to figure out the info. Australia has the V240, so someone over there could help with some of it. I'd also be interested in finding out more about the steering setup.

4g63 DOHC RWD in China

It appears the Great Wall Haval H3 (a Chinese vehicle) uses a 4g63 DOHC in RWD.

It is just difficult to get a lot of information on it, but if someone here is in or around China, you would probably have a better chance of learning more. It ...

This stuff is still available. The block is outside of DC, the rods and pistons are up in MN. $150 for the block. $750 for the rods and pistons shipped. I'm open to offers.

4g64 parts for swap

have most of the bottom end for 4g64 swap. 91 mighty max block so it hooks up to a starquest tranny. Crank along with it. Brand new eagle H beam rods and wiseco pistons. The block will have to be machined and bored out for the pistons. I'm looking for $950 for all. Would prefer to sell it local, but ...

G63b swap

Does anyone know what I would have to do to mate the g63b block to the 4g63 DOHC head? I know they're pretty much the same engine, however I was wondering about coolant passages and such.

I'm not sure where the egr port is, but I'm pretty sure that the evo intake has the throttle body on the correct side for rwd application. I have to do some more research on the intake though.

EVO intake?

Would the EVO intake help simplify some modifications? The throttle body is on the right side I believe. Has anyone used one for the 4g63 swap into a starquest?
