Power Steering bypass

Post by cdomin1 »

Hi guys!

I'm actually new to this forum/community let alone even knew people were swapping these engines into a RWD car. I've considering doing this swap in my RX8 over the JZ engines due to size, weight and grunt of the 4G63 engines.

Now we all know RX8 use an electronic steering rack similar to the Honda S2000 and I can actually keep that with any swap I do in the Mazda but my question is:

How will be able to bypass the P/S pump or remove YET retain the Air Conditioner in the car? I live in Florida and it's hot all year, need that A/C!! LOL

I did a search didn't come with anything on a bypass aside from removing pump and going to manual rack.

Check over at dsmtuners. There should be a power steering delete.
