Adapter Plate for narrowblock 4g63 to B2600 bellhousing
so, I was thinking that since the narrow to wideblock bolt patters is basically the same, just spaced out a little would there be a problem with creating a horse shoe shaped adapter plate that you could bolt to a narrow block and have the bolt holes for the wideblock b2600 bellhousing spaced out so ...

I did some measurements and found that the front of the oil pan would be right over the front crossmember, so I obvioulsy have to move it. this is in a FC RX-7 btw.

What I'm going to do is create an adapter plate to allow a 4G63 from a Talon to mount to a B2600 bell housing then eventually a RX-7 Turbo Transmission.

would the coolant still flow through the head and cool it fine if I was to block off the thermostat housing from the back of the head and move it to the freeze out plug on the front?
I've seen it done before in a few pictures but I just want to know if it will still cool good.
