HELP! won't start update

4G64t in a 90 MM. Cranks won't run.
DSMLink is installed
I have fuel pressure, I have spark
is there something I am missing with the 4g64/4g63t?
I have the timing marks set on the head as stock and the block tdc
I have a 5degree reading on dsmlink for timing when I crank it over
-Thanks Ryan

The question is - Where do I set the timing marks if I am using the gsx cam gears? My understanding is the marks are a tooth or two off...??

Not up and running yet :(

I actually just got the block back from the engine builder as there was a bearing problem. Then we had a bolt for the mains snap... but it should start going together next week, I have a feeling it will be a while with many more issues before it is up and running...

For some reason the early first gen was not available anywhere I only found one place that had them. The 90-92's are larger than all of the later years.

My legacy had a similar issue and the problem ended up being a toasted turbo- there was a ton of play when I checked the impellers. I would check there.

basically I have found 590cc is bare min for 300Hp and 880cc is bar min for 450Hp (these Hp ratings would be at the flywheel)

So the question stands- can I run 850cc or 950cc and run well tuned down to put out about 250-300Hp

economic yet good performance

The DSM link allows for toggle between ...

I take it you are planning to install a dohc head on the 4g64 and turbocharge it, correct? If this is correct, you can use aftermaket 4g63 rods w/o any issues, unless the bottom of the cylinders need to be clearanced. What Mike was saying, is that if you use a 4g64 crank in the 4g63 block, you will ...
