I dont have an exact mesurment at the moment but if it helps I fit a T56 in the stock tunnel of a BMW e30 with no issue. I have the long LS1 input shaft and it almost lines up just shy of the existing shifter hole.

are you still using the stock fwd style oil pan? any advice on that? I building a high hp (800rwp+/-) car and plan on using the oem oil pan, looks pretty well baffled. I plan on going to a custom unit once i get the project driving and funds can build back up.

Kyle, let me know if you need pics of my mounts. both TJ and I use only the 2 bosses on each side of the block that are level with each other. If you want to use the 3 bosses you will need to get creative with differnt height mouting plates because the third hole is not on the same plane.

Youll need to run a tall gear the T56 has a very low 1st gear(either2.66 or 2.97 depending on yr) . We tried the stock 2.78 R&P and the car did like 75MPH in 1st gear. We now run a 4.10 and it loves it.

Both still in the works the tube chassis dragster has been a slow progress, at this point its mobile again and can roll around the shop but very far from done. We picked up another BMW what we are going to do the same thing with but use your auto adapter on it.

the trouble with a 'rebuilt' crankshaft is they dont get re hardened right, they are hung from hooks and run through an oven to heat them, and they warp.
They all come from 'topline' in Chicago
At the factory, they are rotated as they are heat treated and they dont warp
