FP 2X cams

Post by Matt Arruda »

HI guys I decided to go with a differnt cam combo so my FP2X's are forsale
as most of you know these cams are no longer avalible from Forced Performance. They are more agressive then your standard FP2's and somwhere in beetween a 4R. Feel free to correct me if im wrong, but from what I understand in order to simplfy things FP discontinued these when they released the 4R because the specs where too close.
I used these for a total of about 5 hours actuall run time and 1 dyno session.

$300 OBO takes them

Matt, Could you post the specs on those please.

Do you think that they would be too much for a 1600 turbo'd colt motor?

Note: These cams require aftermarket valve spring due to the high ramp rate.

What turbo are you running? Valve springs? How high do you plan to rev your setup?

Just buy the damn things. Turn up the boost and they'll rock your world. The sooner the better. Get that thing running. The last .0001% gain from the perfectly matched cam can wait.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
