Crankwalk

The theory is that the 7 bolt bearing cradle has some slop built into them.

This same cradle also sandwiches the bearings with the crank journals.
On startup the 7 bolt engine hasn't delivered a sufficient amoutn of oil to the bearings, coupled with the fact that alot of guys are installing high ...

Here goes.

I'm gathering parts for the build, and wanted know WHAT STARTER PLATE
to use with a D50/MM 2.0 engine, starion flywheel, and B2600/TII transmission?

Like stated earlier, the stock ECU is terrific for getting your project running an all, or if you dont see yourself really trying to stretch the envelope.
So to each their own :). If you hellbent on using it cause that's all you have right now, you'll be fine.

Marck is correct. The 4G61T bolt pattern and the 4G63T bolt patterns are the same when it comes to mounting the blocks to a tranny. :)


Tons of guys are dropping 4G63's into their turbo Colt's/Mirages, and using the stock 4G61T tranny. And guys, 4G61t engines, when modded correctly make well over ...
