hey. im Jay, some might no me as mitsuspeed on dsmtuners or maybe even the starquest boards back in the day. anyway, im in the process or dropping a 4g63 head/4g64 wide block into my 89 starion. i allready have the head, crank and block. the block is out of a 1990 mighty max (6 bolt) and im at the point where i need to buy pistons/rods. my question is can i use the same size pistons that the guys using the spyder narrow blocks use? also, how is the NT block going to hold up to the pressures of boost? any input will be great, thanks, and i look forward to learning alot here.

I dont know about the pistons.. but why wouldn't the block take to boosting? Its cast iron.. that stuff can take like 1000hp or more.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Yeah, I'm really sick of seeing all these SR20DET swaps. Who decided that the KA24 isn't worth a crap? I'd like to build one just to spank all the big $$$ SR20's around...
Well, now I've got the truck, should I do the swap?
