g63b/4g63t

Post by motorsport_5 »

Hey people, i am from new zealand so most of the cars i talk abot are named different to yours. Anyway i have a 1982 Mitsubishi Sigma rwd 4g63 sohc carbouretted. i got myself a g63b engine for it out of a Mitsubishi Pajero, along with the computer, loom etc, i am looking to bolt this engine upto my 5 speed sigma gearbox and complete the wiring loom so i have a turbo sigma. Does anyone know of any troubles i may have like the box not bolting up etc.....

Thanks

Hey to shed some light on my questions that i asked, The Pajero motor that i have sourced is a g63b-the exact same setup as the starion, everything is the same except for the gearbox, now my sigmas na block was narrow and the g63b block is wide, so i have sourced a starion gearbox, this creates the problem of clutch. my sigma was cable clutch and the starions box is hydraulic so i have also got the pedal box and plumbing from that pajero to fit to my sigma, just got to put a hole in the firewall etc.
Austarion are not much help.
