The 2.4 is just a 2.0 that breathes a little deeper. Not sure if its to the extent that you'd need a piggy back of some sort. Why not just get one.. an SAFC would be one of the cheapest parts of the swap

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

for as much as EPROM ECU's go for these days you could sell that one and buy a used TEC, Autronic, Hawk, etc...
That is really a shame about that VR4. You sure as hell wont find a limited edition corvette in a junkyard in the US though.
