Ill get into details and specifics later, I have to ramp up, little discouraged since my last one died with mightyd50.com
I'll try to keep technical stuff hotlinked to other post.
A/S/L (lol @ oldschool internets)
My name is Marc. 29 Year old "machinist" in south FL. A car guy for 13 years or so, I had taken a hiatus to squirrel away money for a house and wife. Scored a house, got engaged, and now its back to the cars.
I scored my mighty max from a guy i work with. he's the original owner. And a scientist, kinda, he has like 3.5 different engineering degrees, so the title works for me. His attention to the truck was amazing. He tracked every oil change, changed the timing belt every 60k miles etc.(Which after finding out that a 4g64 is noninterference floored me as a huge waste time)
Anywho when I got my filthy little paws on it the danger truck had 346000 miles on her. Ran like a champ, although with the check engine, maintainece and brake lights all on the dash (where she got her name from BTW)

Got her home to the place i was renting at the time and snapped a couple more pics. Then started looking around the ol' internet for info.
I scored a tach'd cluster, Monty LSD, and a set of rims
Fixing the new odometer (Link on how-to soon)

Rims $150

Opening up the rims at work

LSD $40

Now unfortunately for me, the terms of my lease said I couldn't even change oil at the place I was at. No one had ever lived there before, so I couldn't say any new messes were someone Else's.
I hit a deer with my truck one night on the way home from work. Quite a bummer I can assure you. It killed both my new radiator and one of the new head lights the wife had gotten me to replace the weak stock headlamps with H4. H4 bulbs apparently attract deers like moths to a flame, because as most natives in FL can tell you deer are pretty damn rare this far south.

Dollar thrown at him for size reference and cause I like to "make it rain" on roadkill. Not much of a strip club kind of guy, too much glitter.
Four months later I become a home owner for the 1st time.
For those who don't know home ownership is all about changing things you think are perfectly fine for things your wife feels is better. The only thing I got to do was the garage floor.

13 hours of floor prep later we rolled it.

I wish I would have taken more pics of how bad the garage had gotten. Full of shit is a huge understatement. Started organizing after a near death experience for the wife when i saw exactly how many boxes of Xmas decorations we have. She opted to get a storage unit, rather than take a swim in the Gulf stream and the liberation of my garage began anew.

Obligatory prebuild dyno. Shame on all of you who don't do this. Lucky for me I live exactly 3 minutes from a dyno.

Stock 4g64 365k miles. OEM ORIGINAL STOCK CLUTCH. Ill post pics of it as proof. Mistu stamp on pressure plate and disc. When i bought the truck he told me it was the oem clutch, but to actually see it was stunning
With the lab cleared out enough to work in, I pulled the DT into the garage for the last time under NA power.

I scored fenders, bumper support and a hood from the boneyard. Test fitting them. The 1st pics show some of the damage from the deer.
