yeah fellars need some serious help here

i have ah sirus 2000 and i want 2 put the 4g67 head on the block so the car will run better but at this time i think i am running into some problems

ok here what my problems are

how the crank sensor is going 2 work?

how will i get the plugs 2 fire cause the head has no distributer it has ah coil pack

how i will accurately set the timing (a sohc block so i think that the timing gear might be smaller) without a timing light

could i use the 4g67 main pulley

or and the budget it very low thats why i did not put in the 4g67

i really need some assistance soon

Sounds like you need to swap the dohc engine harness in and use the cas/coil setup that it uses.

i have the harness already

what is the cas/coil
and what about the crank sensor
ah think if u dont have the crank sensor the car would not be able 2 start ( not sure)

The cas is the Cam Angle Sensor, on the early hohc engines, it also served as the crank angle sensor.

The engine cannot run without this as it orchestrates the ignition and injectors firing.

ok i kinda understand u now so what i am trying 2 do is not making sence then
cause it now looking as if there wlii plenty of make shift adjustments
