Yard just called back! T Case and Tranny are out and I am going to take measurements here in a bit!

Well just got off the phone with them... Another dead end aparently the tranny grenaded also and he went with a toyota tranny also.

This toyota idea is looking more and more promising. Only thing is will it fit in the tunnel is the big question along with the transfer case.

Me 3! Going to try a local drive shaft shop though.

Dam great link! I am hard at work been slaving over calculations, posts, combinations etc etc. Learning more and more just not coming up with a solid solution. Going to make this truck work if it kills me!

Hmm some interesting points there. Found a few 4x4 trannies in the 400 dollar range. Might be a starting point. Trying to keep this build under 1k.

Might do another 4x4 tranny just for now to get it running and do all the measuring etc. for the W series setup.

I found a bunch of D50 tranny's Narrow blocks on Car-part.com in my area. 150 to 300 dollar range. All 2wd.

Can I take one of these GOOD trannies and swap on the tail transfer case off my 4x4 tranny that is destroyed and it will be a 4x4 tranny again right?

I know there have been transfer cases bolted onto a r154. I believe you need to change the tailshaf tot a r151 or something. I looked up this informationa while back, it would be possible. Dunno about the w58.

Well the tranny is dead. Took it to ESP today to see what they think. The tranny is a D50 tranny built out of about 3 different trannies for a crazy hybrid but old parts where used per the customer and now its dead.

What are my options for another tranny?
