Hey. I have a link to a wheel and tire size comparer. It doesn't list the Mighty Max, so I don't have the stock wheel size, offset, backspacing, etc. But you really don't need it. You can change wheel size and offset, and see what tires may fit. If you plug in the Mitsubishi stock size in Package 1 ...

Well, the link I posted for ecmtuning has all the info on why the 95-97 EPROM ECU is better than the 98. If you look it over, I'm sure you can spend quite a bit of time on their site and get some idea of what the potential is on the ECU upgrade. For the price, it is money well spent IMO.

Hey Arrowhead, if you could locate a '95 Eprom ECU, you could then swap it in place of the '98 ECU. If you are familiar with dsmlink a.k.a. ECMTuning, you could get the ECU set up with that. Then, you can change just about anything with the fuel, airflow, and timing maps to support your build. It ...

Hey, I believe the fuel pump will not come on until the engine cranks. Once it cranks, the pump will shut back down (after 1-2 sec) if the engine doesn't start. This is assuming the ECU is seeing the inputs it needs in order to fire the fuel pump up. So, that wire to the fuel pump feed wire won't ...

Thanks Bill! Yeah, I got a streetrod book on motor and driveline swapping and they really make a big deal out of getting the angles aligned correctly on a car. They really scared the crap out of me when they say a two plane alignment is not desireable. That's why I got the book in the first place ...

I am no expert, but this may help you. I am not 100% sure I understand your problem, but I think you had a 7 bolt motor in an automatic Truck that was knocking. You got another motor but it turned out it is a six bolt. You want to know what you have to do to get the six bolt crank to bolt up to the ...

Driveshaft alignment
Hello All,
I am having some difficulty in aligning my driveline. I have a six bolt on a stand in the engine compartment with a Hincher bellhousing / W series tranny. I have a Toyota 7.5" rear roughed in the rear. Nothing has been mounted yet, so it is all open to change.

speed sensor
I've seen a few folks inquire about how to exactly install a 2g VSS (speed sensor) into a 1g for use with DSMLink and an aftermarket speedometer, and I finally got it all figured out on my car (thanks to Paul over at www.symtechlabs.com) over the past weekend.

Hello,
I have been doing some research on the speed sensor. It seems that most people are taking a second gen speed sensor (which moves it from the gauge cluster to the tranny) and wiring it to provide a signal to the ECU. I tried to cut and paste the article off DSMlink forums, but none of the pics ...

Yeah, I saw your car there. It is very impressive. I was tempted to see if I could find you, but I didn't want to bother you. I knew you had little rest with the trans issues (if I remember right) you had. Maybe this time, I will make a little more effort.

FORMULA D @ SUMMIT POINT!!
Hey guys,
I just found out Formula D is coing to Summit Point, WV for June 2nd! Normally they do the Hyper-Fest event, which is always a blast (this year it's June 23rd), but if you've ever seen a pro tear it up, there's a big difference. I am going to both and I just wanted to spread the word ...

Holy crap! I had no idea that the stuff was flammable. I originally read the article in Grassroots Motorsports. Guess you can't believe everything you read. Thanks. Bill, I did see a video of an explosion caused by a guy charging the a/c system with an 'aftermarket' a/c system additive. But you know ...

Bill and everyone else reading this topic,
Have you all seen this?
http://www.evanscooling.com/main25.htm
If the link doesn't work, sorry, just cut and paste. Apparently, this stuff doesn't vaporize and insulate like water based coolant does when you need it most.
Hi, Bill.
