Sure no problem.

Would it be possible to measure from the front face to the shifter location? I.E. with the bell housing removed. I was thinking maybe with some collaberation we could get a get a spread sheet going for the transmission dimensions.

If I end going with the toyota R transmission I ...

Will go check em out. If they don't have a wideblock I might just go with a toyota trans/billhousing/narrowblock.

Arab Alabama. I can pay shipping on a 4g63 short block. I shipped a bare block for about 45$ about 8-9 months ago.

Comparitive transmission lengths.

I am wondering if anyone has information compairing transmission lengths. I am looking to get this project started, but Its probably gonna take longer to find a wide block AND a b2600 bellhousing than I'd really like to wait.

So I found one rx-7 video on youtube where the guy was using the d-50 ...

WTB: Wide block and B2600 Bellhousing

I am searching for a wideblock and a b2600 bell-housing.

I am looking for a g63b, g64b, or any Sirius family 2.0 or 2.4 wideblock. I would prefer a bare block, but if it comes with the crank, connecting rods, and pistons that is fine as well. An oil pan would be great too as long as it is not ...

Thanks. Looks like there are not many options. I may end up seeing what I can do with a narrowblock then.

Your probably gonna want to Run a toyota trans with an adapter, or a chevy trans with an adapter, or get one of Bill's bellhousings for a narrow block.

Some one car to elaborate on why not? I am working on an FC swap, and I am guessing it would be easier to use a T-II trans in the rx-7 than use a toyota trans.

I am not really looking to make big numbers, I am only shooting for 200 rwhp on a 2.4 high comp. I know stock T-II has a similar output ...

I am planning this swap as well.

Wideblock 4g6x in a FC RX-7 mount?s (Calling fox body guys)

So grannyspeed, infamous for their rx-7 v-8 boltin conversions, makes this bolt in kit for a 2.3 turbo ford engine. I am wondering if this might be adapted someway for use with a wideblock 4g6x engine.

Fox body guys
Anyone that has mounted a 4g63 in a fox body 4 cylinder, how did the oil pan ...

Tank's FC Build. (2.4 wideblock swap eventually)

Just wanted to get started with my FC. This is my current daily driver. Once I get the current eclipse running nice it will getting a 2.4 wide-block swap. Why swap a 2.4 into an Mazda and not a v-8? Weight reduction, reliability, gas mileage, and familiarity. Been working with the 4g63 and its ...

New Here

New here. From the DSM World. I owned a mirage awd swap, colt awd swap, 2 awd 1gs, and 2 fwd 2gs over the years.

This is my first RWD project. I did own a couple of RWD celicas but one was daily driven, and the other was sold shortly after I picked it up (was called to haul it to scrap gave them ...
