You can also use two small oilcoolers. One under the left headlightunit and the other under the right. A friend of mine did that with his Lancer and it's working well.

I've got mine 5cm higher than the original mounting place.

It gives you more space for exhaust, external wastegate and you don't have to worry about the engine bracket......and it looks nice! 8)

Thanks guys! Yes, we had to extend the runners because the turbo would hit the valve cover.
Yes again it's a DNP. :D

Top mount exhaust header.

I want to share some pictures with you guys how I made my top mount exhaust header.

First of all I bought a excisting header of a 1G Eclipse. The first thing we did was cutting of the flange and extending the runners a bit.

I've got a Centerforce dual friction clutch. It's a 225mm clutchkit from a Starion non turbo.

Check the Centerforce site for more info.

I finally did it! I blew up my engine! I lost all my oil after a full throttle run, but i diddn't turned my engine off, because I tought it was a waterleak. After 30 sec I noticed that there wasn't any oil pressure. By then it was to late! After I removed the oilpan, there was a lot of metalflake on ...

I've got the same I/C DJPowerhaus! It's a very efficient I/C. One side of the I/C is warm (duh) and the other side of the I/C is always cold, there is even some moisture on it.

The DSM guys are often using the 1mm oversized valves, but the stock valves are more then enough for your application. Are you doing your headwork yourself? If so, be warned you could easy ruin your head. I did my headwork myself, I only removed the casting inperfections and made the transitions ...

The rimms are 16inch. After the engine upgrade I drove the car for 1 month, then the gearbox started to make noise. It sounds like when you drive in reverse, but then in all gears!

Can you guys tell me how much power/torque the 88-90 Starion gearbox can hold?
Are you guys always talking WHP or CHP? I now have 380HP (cranck) and 422NM of torque. I have to rebuild the gearbox, because of bad synchro's and bearings...
It never had a rebuild.
What kind of gearbox oil should I use ...

When the engine is cold, it sometimes stalls. But when I drive the car for 1 mile the idle is just fine. When the engine is hot, it never stalls! I think it's all worth to remove the ISC, because of the many bennefits doing this.

The back of the intake has been blocked off with a flange. I've rotated the throttlebody 180gr. I diddn't want to replace my ignition coils, and yes, I don't have the ISC motor anymore. That means I have to block off the hole were the ISC was.

Yes I was using a different manifold, but I couldn't use it anymore with the new turbo. (Turbonetics T3/T04E) I have sold the manifold to a friend of mine......
