hello fellas once again, today while taking of parts on my narrow block 4g63
to swap over to the wide 4g63, i noticed that the wideblock doesnt have any mounting holes to bolt down the p/s bracket. am i supposed to use the mighty max p/s pump? or is the dsm p/s pump applicable to the wideblock in any way?
what power steering pump do i use?

I don't know what kind of wideblock you have, but every one I've seen had the holes to bolt the DSM power steering bracket.
Top 2 are behind the heater hose pipe and I'm using one for a bolt to put a chain on. You don't have these 4 holes?

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

actually now that i have the engine in i did notice no holes, i must have been looking at the intake side when i said that there was holes there.
heres what i mean

the g63b that i pulled was from a 89 dodge ram 50
i was kinda looking forward for p.s. since the car is going to be used for drift, but i guess im going to build my forearms now lol

You'll hate life if you try to drift without power steering. I'm sure you can come up with something. Making lines is so easy. You could also mount the power steering pump on the other side of the motor too if you don't have A/C. That's where I put my pump. So far so good.

yea i was thinking of putting it on the opposite side but unfortunatley im putting a alt. relocation kit so i'll be needing the old a/c bolt holes. you were right dj on all the little things that can cause hell lol. i need to come up with something or else im going to have to go with the manual sterring box. would it make it any easier anyway to go manual box?
