7MGE and 2JZ Auto tranny driveshaft yokes work on R154?

Post by ShaggyZ »

 I've received indications after doing a Google sweep (mostly focused on supraforums) that the slip-yokes of auto-trannied, 7MGE engined cars and auto-trannied 2JZ-GE cars are compatible with the tail of the R154 without modification.

The only complaints guys were having about the auto driveshafts is that they are the wrong length for their R154'd application, which is obviously not a problem for most of us who will need custom driveshafts anyways.

I'm just looking for a super cheap driveshaft solution. (eBay = scalpers and high shipping... also, easier to find guys getting rid of non-turbo setups local).

Can anyone confirm or dispel this rumor? Actually, the question is: "who will do it first?"

I scanned that thread before posting this thread and I don't see anything about the auto driveshafts. Just a lot of discussion about custom driveshafts.
