Cleaning up harness...

Post by Mitsu-San »

Alright now I was working on cleaning up my harness. I removed the wiring for all the AC, Emissions, brake fluid sensor, defogger, wipers, cruise control
AC stuff and now I've got some straggler wires now. Tracing them back to the ecu plugs. They are the following pins
-pin 63 "MPI Control relay"
-pin 64 Check engine light *just wire this up to a unused waring light...
-pin 8 "Intake air temperature sensor (MAF)" ?
-pin 10 "Air flow Sensor (MAF)" ?
-pin 103 "Battery backup power supply (constant 12V)" self descriptive..

Now the two pins for the MAF, All wires for the MAF are still coming out the connector uncut. I was checking back to the ecu connectors with a test light to see where they went to and still ended up with these :? Most are
pretty self descriptive but pin 63 and the two MAF pins mess me up. HELP!

-Pin 63 will be jumped in with pin 66, which will go to pin 8 on the mpi relay
-Pin 64, hook up to a dummy light or don't use it
-Pin 8 goes to mas
-Pin 10 goes to mas
-Pin 103, hook it up to a constant +12v with a 10 amp fuse

This should help you on the mas:
