I am pretty sure that most guys that sell aluminum, sell it by the pound. They don't care too much about it's shape. I believe the rate per lb fluctuates a bit, because it seems to be different every time I have bought aluminum. I bet Bill H knows the answer to this question.
One thing that IS for sure is that Bill could probably make a laserbeam-powered rocket ship out of it.
